Beanie Blogs #4: Weird Burgers and Chillyness

Hello!!!

I am reading, "SbuxProblems" on Twitter... i don't know why.

SO, I am hungry. Very hungry. Well it's sort of run off for a bit but I'm sure it'll be back soon - white cannelini bean burgers and salad for dinner tonight (hopefully) nomnom - the burgers looked amazing on this

*23:18*
Um, hey! Basically, my mum and iha to go and pick up my brother and da from town so I left my blog post unfinished and, well now I'm here!
The burgers were strange, they weren't bad but seeing as I left out two of the ingredients they weren't very flavour-ful. But, with tomato and a bit of lettuce inside a brown roll it was lovely ^_^

Today's weather was strange. It was so lovely and cold and then it was sunny and warm (but breezy woop!) and now cold but I suppose that's autumn for you. 39 minutes left of August :D

I'm going to catch up on twitter/instagram/tumblr/maybeyoutubeand then sleep so, ta-ta!

Beanie Blogs #3: Veganism.

Hello my little beanie's,
So I have been thinking about becoming a vegan this last week or so, but one thing has been stopping me: "But we buy organic milk and our eggs come from the chickens next door!" (also note that in this post I'm really not trying to convert you into becoming a vegan/vegetarian, some people need meat not just for taste but also health reasons so yeah ^_^) but then I read on PETA the "Organic Myth" and it just got me thinking that I don't want to drink milk from cows, those beautiful cows just want to live life but they're being forced to be pregnant all the time (for meat) whilst some guy is annoying them milking them! I don't know, I just felt really... Sad.
And reading this article about how horrible Cadbury's are to cows! I actually teared up.
I've always wanted to be a friend of the animals and care about animal well fare - I've been a vegetarian since I was about three (my granny fed me sneaky sausages whilst my mum wasn't looking when I was very young :D), so the switch to veganism isn't too hard (I hope)

So in conclusion, I am becoming a vegan BUT when my family and I go on holiday of I end up eating a waffle I'll just call it a one time thing.

Thanks for listening heheh

Beanie Blogs #2: Grease Test, Kitchen Spice and The Cooold!

Hello!

Another little bloggy thing for today! Aren't you lucky?!

For lunch out (in a really nice cafe!) i had a salad sandwich (they put quite a lot of butter in the sandwich, so my veganism will have to make exceptions when out), lovely chips on the side (I did the "Grease test", I got out my napkin and put it over the chips then took off and saw how much oilyness was on them - turns out, not really any oilyness so WIN! I hate greasy chips) and a cup o' tea!
Then mum and I looked in some of the gift shops and went to a garden centre to kill time. In the garden centre they had a big shelf full of Yankee candles! MY FAVOURITE.
They have a new collection out called, "Kitchen Spice" and OH MY DAYS it smells amazing. I was standing there just smelling it - it was perfect. Really autumnal but when Winter comes, pretty festive-y and it smelt like something. Like a lovely warm festive feeling memory I had last year. I LOVED IT.

We then went off to town to pick up my brother and then went to Starbucks (small, soy chai tea latte as always - well the soy is only my second time but it's actually so much nicer) because... Well because Starbucks is lovely.

Aaaand now we're here! It is SO cold outside ahhh I LOVE ITTTTT!

I'm watching How I Met Your Mother and drinking a cup of earl grey tea ^_^ for dinner we had this lovely medittiranian sort of soup that dad made with hummus and red pepper and celery and then rhubarb and apple crumble! Very Autumnal ;)

Okay, talk to you later!

Beanie Blogs #1: A (not so) Formal Introduction.

HELLO THERE!

I would formally introduce myself, but there's a little bar thingy on the side where I say who i am and stuff, and to be quite honest you probably already know me if reading this.

So this blog will be a sort of "journal/diary" blog, with maybe a couple of recipes or something. Or and "Esh's thoughts" sorta blog.

Today is COLD. YES. COOOOLD!
WIIIIIIIIIIN! I'M SO EXCTIED BECAUSE AUTUMN IS ON IT'S WAY AND I GET TO WEAR MY NEW SNOOD, SLIPPERS AND HAT AND DRINK HOT CHOCOLATE AND BE ALL COSY AND WATCH BRIDGET JONES AND SERENDIPITY (I watched that a couple of days ago... Teheh) AND AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
BUT, it says on Sunday it might be twenty four degrees (celcius) :'( i told mum and dad that this morning and they just chuckled and said, "How did we get such a quirky girl?" (I measure out the soya milk to put on my weetabix and put it on in layers - otherwise the Weetabix is either too dry or too soggy! It's scientific, really :D) but anywho, I'll just pretend it's always freezing, like it is now! :D

Mum and I are going to this really cute little place where there are little gift shops and a little cool cafe and everything's all organic-y and stuff (i think so, anyway) so that'll be fun, I think the cafe does nice soup....

This is what's easier about writing in a blog rather than a journal - I pretty much write everything that's in my head (pretty much) and because I can type pretty fast, the thoughts in my head don't fade away when I get to them... Does that make any sense?

In the left corner, we have YOUTUBE! In the centre, we have BLOGGER! Annnnnd in this right corner, we haaaaave.... TUMBLR! I'm sorry, it's just i've got my three favourite websites up on tabs. I'm such a nerd.

Okay, talk to you later! Ta-ta!

P.S. Sorry if any of these aren't interesting but I don't think i'll try to make them interesting I think i'll just write them and then if anyone wants to read, go ahead! :D
